Kimetsu no Yaiba is a manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The manga was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020 and has been collected into 23 tankōbon volumes as of December 2020. The manga has sold over 120 million copies, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.
The story follows a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado who becomes a demon hunter after his family is killed by demons and his younger sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. Tanjiro travels with his sister and a few other demon slayers, fighting demons and searching for a cure to turn Nezuko back into a human.
Kimetsu no Yaiba has been adapted into an anime series and a feature film, both of which have been well-received by audiences and critics. The manga has also inspired video games, stage plays, and merchandise.
